We're a determined community working for a world that takes breast cancer prevention seriously. With evidence showing that at least 30% of cases could be prevented, saving thousands of people from going through the agony of a diagnosis annually, we are calling on governments and industry to stop ignoring the causes.
We demand they regulate harmful chemicals and put policies in place to enable healthy lifestyles, because the current neglect of prevention must change.

What change do we want to see?
Together, we’re fighting for a world where everyone has the best possible chance of avoiding preventable breast cancer. The accepted wisdom is that we’re powerless to avoid breast cancer. Our movement disagrees. Prevention can and is saving lives – but it’s a topic that’s just not talked about enough.
But this won’t happen without decisive action. We need proper regulations to protect us all, and more funding for cutting-edge research into breast cancer causes and prevention.
Why does this change need to happen now?
Cancer touches so many of our lives. We're told that around 1 in 2 of us will develop cancer in our lifetimes.
This is not OK.
It’s an outrage that the UK has a higher breast cancer mortality rate than other OECD countries. We cannot allow the UK to fall behind in cancer prevention when so many lives are at stake. The action we take today could save thousands of lives in the future – but it needs to happen now.
Promising research already exists, but more funding is needed to find the answers we need and make an impact. We need to keep raising awareness to empower more people to make healthier choices right now, so that they don’t have to face cancer later in life.
